EXHIBITION OF LEV BAKST OPENED AT VICTORY PARK RESIDENCES

IN HONOR OF THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF SKETCHES FOR THE BALLET "SLEEPING BEAUTY"

An exhibition of engravings by Lev Bakst has opened in Victory Park Residences art space located next to the residential complex of the same name near Victory Park. The exhibition includes 30 original lithographs with the expertise of the Shapero gallery in London created by the artist in 1921-1922. Some of the exhibits used to be a part of Boris Berezovsky private collection and are shown to the general public for the first time. Besides graphics, the exhibition features two unique works of the artist: an unfinished sketch of the scenery for the 1910 ballet “The Firebird” and “Portrait of a girl wearing a Russian kokoshnik” painted in 1911 in watercolors.
